Launch readiness

iPhone first, with Android still in testing.

Cragen is pre-release publicly. The website now points users at the App Store launch path while the app finishes smoke testing.

App Store assets are ready

The launch copy, iPhone screenshots, Watch screenshots, review notes, and free v1 positioning are prepared for App Store review.

Smoke testing is the final gate

The iPhone release candidate is still moving through hands-on checks for onboarding, logging, rest timer, history, progress, Watch, export, and account backup.

Android stays in testing

Health Connect and Android flows remain part of the roadmap, but the public launch promise is focused on the iPhone App Store release first.

What's inside

Built for lifters who actually train.

Cragen is opinionated where it matters and quiet where it doesn't. Every feature exists to keep you under the bar.

Logging that gets out of the way

Weight, reps, and effort pre-fill from your last set. Tap to confirm. The next set is already waiting. Eyes stay on the bar.

Programs without the spreadsheet

Start from a guided routine, customize the split, and keep reusable templates ready for the next training cycle.

Progress you can scan

See recent volume, rep ranges, body metrics, and workout history without digging through notes between sets.

Stats that mean something

Volume, intensity, and frequency by lift or muscle. So you know what is moving and what needs attention.

Body and recovery context

Pull steps, sleep, and body weight from Apple Health on iPhone. Android Health Connect support remains in testing.

History that endures

Every set you log stays with you. Export your full history any time. Bring your lifts with you, wherever you train next.

Integrations

Connect what you already use.

Cragen meets you where you already train and recover.

Apple Health

iPhone launch

Reads steps, sleep, and body weight from Apple Health to give your lifts recovery context.

Health Connect

Android testing

The same recovery context is planned for Android through Google's Health Connect after the iPhone launch path is through review.

Trust

Your training is yours.

Cragen is built to be trusted with years of your lifting history. We treat it like that.

  • Your workouts, programs, and body weight stay on your device.
  • Health data flows in only — we don't send it back out.
  • No ads. No trackers. Nothing sold to anyone, ever.
  • Export your full training history as a CSV any time. It's yours.

Local-first

Private training records, ready to export.

Cragen v1 keeps workouts, programs, body weight entries, and preferences on your device by default. Health data is read-only, and optional iOS account backup can keep your logbook restorable.

FAQ

Quick answers.

Is Cragen free?

Yes. The v1 release is free and focused on the core logbook.

Will it slow me down in the gym?

No. Logging is built around how you actually train — tap, confirm, next set. The app gets out of the way so you can keep your eyes on the bar.

What if I switch phones?

On iPhone, optional Sign in with Apple backup can restore your logbook. You can also export workout history as CSV from Settings.

Does my history carry across program changes?

Yes. Every set you log stays in your history. Build a new program; your numbers come with you.

Will there be an Android version?

Yes. Android is in testing, including Health Connect-facing screens. The first public launch path is the iPhone App Store release.

Can I delete everything?

Yes. Clear everything from inside the app, or uninstall to wipe it all. You're in control.

Find your fit

A free workout log app for the way lifters actually search.

Whether you call it a gym tracker, strength training log, or fitness logbook, Cragen keeps the same promise: fast logging, private history, and progress you can review.
